Sign up by creating an account at carlisle.readsquared.com OR by downloading the READsquared App available for free on iOS and android, if using the app select Carlisle Public Library from the drop-down menu.
To Register:
- Select if you are registering just yourself or yourself and children.
- Teens 13+ may create their own account, all younger participants will need to have an account through an adult.
- Select age from drop-down menu.
- Fill out information.
- Do you want to win a raffle? Then make sure we have your current phone number or email. If your contact information is not correct, call (515) 989-0909 after you complete the login process.
- If you are adding family members to your account you will continue on and add as many members as you need.
- If you selected to just register yourself but you need to add family members you can do so by going to “my account”–> “add child account”
Early Literacy (ages 0-5)
- Complete 40 minutes of reading and receive a coupon for a Fiss’ Ice Cream Cone.
- Complete 160 minutes of reading and receive a coupon for a Fareway treat.
- Complete 200 minutes of reading and receive a free book!
- Continue earning free books by completing “missions”.
Children (K-5th Gr completed)
- Complete 2 hours of reading and receive a coupon for a Fiss’ Ice Cream Cone.
- Complete 8 hours of reading and receive a coupon for a Fareway treat.
- Complete 10 hours of reading and receive a free book!
- Continue earning free books by completing “missions”.
Teens (6-12th Gr Completed)
- Complete 5 hours of reading and receive a coupon for a Fiss’ Ice Cream Cone.
- Complete 10 hours of reading and receive a free book!
- Continue earning free books by completing “missions”.
- The more points you earn the more raffle tickets you can earn for prizes.
Adults (ages 18+)
- Read a book to earn points to win prizes
- Each book read earns 20 pts, plus $1 gets donated to the library up to $500.
- Prizes include:
