Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library Group is a group of volunteers dedicated to promoting positive community support for the Carlisle Public Library, sponsoring special events, and raising additional money to purchase a variety of items not funded by the regular library budget.

The Friends meet as needed, usually about 4 times per year, with much of the group’s communication taking place via email.

If you would like to make a donation to the Friends Group for the library, please stop in or download this form and mail it in with your gift to, Friends of the Library PO Box S Carlisle, IA 50047. We greatly appreciate the extra support!

Little Free Libraries

There are currently two Little Free Libraries maintained by the library in Carlisle, Iowa. They are located at Carlisle Aquatic Center & Summerset Trail Head near Bike Repair Station. For more information please contact the library.
