Author visit: Linda McCann

Author Linda McCann will join the library to disk the Civilian Conservation Corps’ work in Iowa. The CCC was created to employ young men and lift the United Sates out of the Great Depression. They build many parks in Iowa, including Lake Ahquabi State Park, and worked on soil erosion, flood control, and planting trees throughout Iowa.
